Thailand implements RoHS2 as a voluntary standard

Thailand Ministry of Industry published the industrial standard “TIS 2368–2564 Electrical And Electronic Equipment That May Contain Hazardous Substances : Restriction Of The Use Of Certain Hazardous Substances” in the Royal Gazette on 8 September 2021. The standard replaces previous voluntary industrial standard TIS 2368-2551 (2008) to update in line with EU-RoHS2 (Directive 2011/65/EU). It has been effective since 6 January 2022 as a voluntary standard.
