Ministerial Regulations on The Standard Of Management And Operation On Safety, Occupation, And Workplace Environment Regarding To Heat Light And Noise, B.E.2559 (2016) requires employers to provide appropriate working environment related to heat, noise and lighting.
Requirements:
Employers shall;
- control heat, noise and lighting not to exceed standard set by notifications under Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Act B.E. 2554 (2011)
- prepare and provide personal protective equipment as necessary
- measure level of heat (in case of heating or hot process), noise (in case of noise emitting process) and lighting at least once a year and report the test result within 30 working days
- conduct a health check of employees and report to the Department
