Thailand Considers Revising Industrial Waste Rules for Returned and Claimed Products

On 19 August 2026, Thailand’s Office of the Public Sector Development Commission  opened a public consultation on proposed principles for revising the treatment of the “waste generator” when a purchasing factory returns non-conforming products to the manufacturer for claims handling, inspection, repair, or other corrective action. The consultation will remain open until 17 September 2026.
