Description

The Vietnamese Law on Chemicals (No. 69/2025/QH15) and its associated guidance documents came into effect in 2026, introducing significant legislative updates. For Vietnam and foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam, keeping pace with chemical compliance is more critical than ever. This seminar will provide an overview of the landmark updates to the latest chemical management frameworks, including changes to the chemical list, import/export and trading permit requirements, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements, confidential business information (CBI), Vietnam Chemical Inventory (NCI), etc. The aim of this seminar is to provide an overview of the latest chemical management regulations in Vietnam.

Nguyen Minh Hieu

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hieu is a consultant at Enviapac Research & Consulting Co Ltd. (a subsidiary of EnviX Ltd. in Vietnam). He specialises in researching and consulting on environmental, climate change and chemical regulations and policies in Vietnam, working with many clients in the private sector. He holds a master’s degree in environmental science. He has experience of consulting and auditing FDI companies on compliance with Vietnam environmental and chemical regulations. Previously, he joined development projects in Vietnam that were funded by international clients such as UN, WB, ADB and AFD. With his experience of climate change, chemicals and environmental protection projects, he is strongly committed to advancing sustainable development in Vietnam.
