Thailand Overhauls List of Label-Controlled Products to Eliminate Regulatory Overlap

On 17 September 2026, Thailand’s Label Committee, responsible for implementing the Consumer Protection Act, published in the Government Gazette the “Notification of the Label Committee Re: Prescription of Categories of Products as Label-Controlled Products B.E. 2569 (2026).” The notification redefines the categories of products subject to label control so that consumers can obtain accurate and sufficient material information about products.
