Ministerial Regulation Regarding The Standard For Service, Management, And Proceeding On Occupational Safety, Health And Environment For Works Involving Hazardous Chemicals, B.E.2556 (2013) requires employers who own hazardous chemicals at workplace to measure a concentration of hazardous chemicals at workplace and report the test result to the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare within 15 working days. For the implementation of the requirement, the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, the Ministry of Labor has announced “Notification of Department of Labor Protection and Welfare: Standard and method to measure and analyze concentration of hazardous chemicals” on 27 December 2016.

Requirements:
Employers who own hazardous chemicals at workplace shall;

  • measure and analyze the concentration of hazardous chemicals in the air at the workplace at least once a year and
  • report the test result within 15 working days since the date that the employer received the test result
