Thailand Fully Revises National Ambient Air Quality Standards

On January 21, 2026, Thailand’s National Environment Board promulgated the “Notification of the National Environment Board: B.E. 2569 (2026) on the Establishment of Air Quality Standards for General Ambient Air.” The notification sets national ambient air quality standards intended to promote the improvement and conservation of environmental quality. It aims to appropriately revise existing standards in light of advances in science and technology and changes in Thailand’s economic and social conditions. The notification took effect on January 22, 2026.
