Thailand Announces Inspection Standards for Contaminant Levels in Imported Waste Paper

On March 31, 2025, Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, through its Pollution Control Department (PCD), issued the “Notification: Inspection Standards for Contaminant Levels in Imported Waste Paper, B.E. 2568 (2025)." The notification aims to clarify operational procedures for relevant agencies and ensure that waste paper imported into Thailand aligns with the circular economy concept, allowing it to be effectively utilized as raw material within the country.
