Thailand Seeks Public Opinions on Proposed Amendments to the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Act

The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare of the Thailand’s Ministry of Labour released draft amendments to the “Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Act (No. ...): B.E. ....”. Public opinions were invited via the Thai Government's Central Law Database website from February 10 to February 24, 2025. The amendments were prompted by the recognition that the current Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Act B.E. 2554 (2011) is outdated and insufficient to ensure worker protection.
