Thailand promulgates water resources management master plan with targets through to 2037

On August 29, 2024, the "Office of the National Water Resources Notification on the 20-Year Water Resources Management Master Plan (Revision Phase 1, 2023–2037 (B.E. 2566–2580))" was promulgated in Thailand. This plan has been formulated pursuant to Articles 17 and 18 of the Water Resources Act 2018, providing the current assessment, visions, targets, and action plans in relation to the water resources management in the country.

The plan sets out guidelines for sustainable water resources management from the perspectives of the following five aspects.
