Thailand requires GHG emission reporting to oil & gas concessionaire

Thailand Department of Mineral Fuels, Ministry of Energy published “Notification of the Department of Mineral Fuels regarding Criteria on Reporting and Calculation Methods of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Petroleum Business Operation B.E. 2565 (2022)” in the Royal Gazette on 16 August 2022. The notification requires concessionaires, production sharing contractors, and service contractors of oil and gas sector to report scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gases emissions every year. The notification has been in effective from the next day of the announcement in the Royal Gazette.
