Thailand announces effluent standard for leather tannery

Marine Department, Ministry of Transport, Thailand announced “Notification of the Marine Department No.153/B.E. 2565 (2022) Prescribing Standard for Controlling wastewater from Industrial Factories, Industrial Estates, and Industrial Zones with Engagement in Factory Business related to Animal Skin Tanning, Polishing, or Coating” in the Royal Gazette on 25 August 2022. The notification sets out industrial effluent standards for leather tanneries.

Standard for Controlling Sewerage from Industrial Factories, Industrial Estates, and Industrial Zones shall be prescribed as follows:
