Ministry of Industry published “Ministerial Regulation on Stretch Cling Film For Food” in the Royal Gazette on 28 May 2021. The regulation mandates stretch wrapping film for food to conform with the Thai Industrial Standard for Stretch Cling Film For Food (TIS 1136-2559 (2016)).
Restriction on hazardous chemical concentration in food wrap
Concentration of hazardous chemicals contained in the product shall comply with the standard in the following table:

The regulation will be effective 180 days after the announcement in the Royal Gazette.
