Thailand Greenpeace released a report about plastic pollution in Thailand

On 29 October 2019, Greenpeace Thailand released a report about plastic pollution in Thailand. According to the report, 5 local companies including CP group and Sinha Corporation were identified as the largest contributors of plastic pollution. International companies, such as Coca-Cola, Ajinomoto and Unilever, were also concluded as responsible manufacturers on this issue.

The survey took place at 2 tourist attractions in Thailand, Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai province and Laem Son On in Songkhla province, with the support of volunteers and local communities.
