Indonesia promulgates ecolabeling standard for compostable products and containers 
On April 4, 2022, the Indonesian National Standard SNI 7188-7:2022 on Ecolabeling Criteria for the Categories of Compostable Products, Product Packaging, and Bioplastic Containers (hereinafter "the Standard") was promulgated in Indonesia. The Standard replaces the previous SNI 7188.7:2016 and covers compostable products, product packaging, and bioplastic containers for consumers that do not come into direct contact with food.
The environmental requirements, including ado dyes and heavy metals, under the new ecolabel certification are as follows:
