Indonesia Announces Energy Efficiency Standards for Water Dispensers, Effective March 2026

On March 6, 2025, Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources issued the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 87/2025 on Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEPS) and Energy Efficiency Labels for Drinking Water Dispensers. This regulation mandates that all water dispensers produced domestically or imported into Indonesia must comply with specified MEPS and display energy efficiency labels.
