Chinese customs issues notice on matters concerning customs inquiries related to dual-use item export control

On June 16, 2025, China’s General Administration of Customs issued a Notice on Matters Concerning Customs Inquiries Related to Dual-Use Item Export Control (General Administration of Customs Notice No. 123 of 2025). The inquiry procedures are based on the Customs Law1, Export Control Law2 and Regulations on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items3, and aim to optimize inquiries for dual-use goods export control. The notice took effect immediately. Details of it are shown below.
