NOTE:
On December 1, 2022, the DOE of the Philippines officially published a regulation to expand the products covered by the Philippine Energy Label Program (PELP),  adding cooking and food processing appliances, personal care equipment, ICT equipment and lighting. See more details in the following:

On August 23, 2022, the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) made a WTO/TBT notification of a DOE proposal circular to expand items subject to the Philippine Energy Labeling Program (PELP). The current PELP covers air conditioners, lighting, refrigerators, and televisions. However, the DOE’s circular proposes to target 10 items including space cooling appliances, refrigerated cooling appliances, multimedia appliances, ICT equipment, and small household appliances. A call for comments on this matter will be conducted until October 22, 2022.
