Philippines Issues Regulation to Implement ASEAN Cosmetic Directive Amendments from the 39th ACC Meeting

On March 4, 2025, the Philippines Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued FDA Circular No. 2025-002, which implements updates and amendments to the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD) as adopted during the 39th ASEAN Cosmetic Committee (ACC) Meeting and its related meetings. This circular enforces revisions approved at the ACC meeting, ensuring compliance with updated regulatory standards in the Philippines. The circular takes effect 15 days after publication in a general newspaper and submission to the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR).
