The Philippines issues Regulations on Fuel Efficiency Labels for Cars and Motorcycles

In the Philippines, the “Implementing Guidelines of the Philippine Transport Vehicles Fuel Economy Labeling Program on Fuel Economy Label of Road Transport Vehicles” was promulgated on December 17, 2024, and came into effect 15 days after the promulgation. The guidelines require the display of fuel economy labels (FEL) and fuel economy stickers (FES) on various types of vehicles (cars, motorbikes, trucks, trailers, etc.) sold in the Philippines.
