Philippines releases four draft administrative orders on air pollution control

In the Philippines, four draft administrative orders related to air pollution were released in 2024 to solicit public comments. The four draft administrative orders respectively set out (1) environmental standards for PM10, (2) the introduction of Euro 5/V exhaust gas standards for cars, motorbikes, etc., (3) regulations on exhaust gas standards and exhaust gas charging systems for stationary sources, and (4) government principle for improving air quality and managing air pollution for the period 2025 to 2035.
