On December 13 and 14, 2023, the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) notified via WTO/TBT a total of seven drafts of implementing guidelines related to energy consuming products, including six for products under the Philippine Energy Labeling Program (PELP), and an amendment to the Minimum Energy Performance (MEPP) guidelines (Department of Energy Circular No. DC 2020-06-0016). New implementation guidelines are proposed for energy saving devices (ESD) and low-voltage energy saving devices (LVSD) for domestic application, as well as display monitors.
