The Philippines promulgates regulations to introduce automotive fuel economy labels

In the Philippines, on June 5, 2023, the following two Department of Energy circulars on fuel economy standards for vehicles were promulgated. As with the draft, the former circular is named the “Fuel Economy Performance Rating (FEPR) Guidelines for Road Transport Vehicles” and the latter the “Vehicles Fuel Economy Labeling Program (VFELP) Guidelines”.
