Philippines Provides Fiscal Incentives for Domestic Manufacturing of EVs and EV Parts

Philippines’ President Ferdinand has signed the Executive Order (EO) No. 121: Providing for the Electric Vehicle Incentive Strategy (EVIS) Program on July 29 2026, which was enforced immediately after its publication in the Official Gazette. The Executive Order is based on the policies under the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (RA 11697) and the Constitution, providing fiscal incentives through the EVIS Program for the domestic manufacturing of hybrid and battery EVs, specifically passenger cars and commercial vehicles, including their parts and components.
