Philippines Holds Public Consultation on Amendments to the Environment Partnership Program

On September 12, 2025, the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippines convened industry partners and stakeholders through the Philippine Environment Partnership Program (PEPP) to hold a public consultation on proposed amendments to DENR Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2003-14, “Establishment of the Philippine Environment Partnership Program (PEPP) to Support Industry Self-Regulation for Improved Environmental Performance.” Issued on June 9, 2003, the DAO established PEPP as a framework to support private-sector self-regulation beyond mere compliance, encouraging voluntary environmental improvement. The consultation was held in a hybrid format at Seda Vertis North Hotel in Manila and online.
