India amends energy labeling regulations for distribution transformers

On January 3, 2023, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) of India published and enacted the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Distribution Transformer), (Amendment) Regulations, 2022, under its “Standards & Labeling Programme”. The regulation specifies items to be displayed on the label, the design of the label, and the label validity period, etc.
