India amends regulations on energy efficiency labeling for stationary storage type electric water heaters

On December 14, 2022, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) of India published “Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Stationary Storage Type Electric Water Heater) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022” for stationary storage type electric water heaters, which must be labeled under the energy labeling system “Standards & Labeling Programme,” and the regulations entered into force on the same day.
