India prescribes package boilers and commercial beverage coolers as voluntary products under Standards & Labeling Scheme

On March 1, 2024, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) of India has added packaged boilers and commercial beverage coolers as voluntary products under the energy efficiency labeling scheme "Standards & Labeling Programme". Manufacture (or assemble), import, and sale of these products in India will be able to display a label with a star rating based on the prescribed energy standards.
