Philippines announces regulations on administrative litigation procedures for violations of EECA

Department of Energy (DOE) Circular No. DC2024-05-0015 “Rules of Procedure in Administrative Cases for Violations under Republic Act No. 11285 (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act)” was promulgated in the Philippines on June 3, 2024 (enacted on May 21, 2024). The circular will come into effect 15 days after its promulgation. The circular stipulates details of administrative procedures for violations of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (RA11285).

The main part of the circular stipulates the details of administrative litigation procedures by DOE, and the annex shows a flowchart.
