Philippines publishes implementation guidelines of energy labels for washing machines and fans

In the Philippines, four guidelines for the implementation of the Philippine Energy Label Program (PELP) were promulgated on June 5, 2023. Two of these are implementation guidelines for washing machines and fans among the target products newly added to PELP by the Department of Energy Circular No. 35 of 2022. The implementation guidelines for these products specify the scope of target products, minimum energy performance (MEP), label design, and other requirements for each product.
