Taiwan revises Climate Change Response Act to strengthen GHG emission

On February 15, 2023, the Environmental Protection Administration of Taiwan released the “Climate Change Response Act”. The Act took effect on the same day. The Act is the revision of the “Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Act” enacted in 2015. The revised Act sets out a goal of achieving net-zero of greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
