China issues national standard for disclosure of environmental protection information of vehicles 
On Jan. 17, 2024, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment published a national ecological and environmental standard called the Technical Specification for Vehicle Environmental Information Disclosure (HJ 1350-2024) with the aim of enforcing the Environmental Protection Law, Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law and Noise Pollution Prevention and Control Law, preventing air and noise pollution from vehicles, and standardizing information disclosure.
The standard will come into effect Jan. 1, 2025. It sets out who, what, when and how to disclose for the disclosure of environmental protection information of vehicles.
