Chinese NPO releases draft guidelines for establishment and evaluation of zero-waste entities

On Dec. 19, 2023, the All-China Environment Federation, a Chinese nonprofit organization, released a draft association standard that provides guidelines for the establishment and evaluation of zero-waste entities.

The draft standard is based on China’s Standardization Law1, Provisions on Association Standards2 and Measures on Association Standards of the All-China Environment Federation (Trial Implementation)3. The federation is seeking comments on the draft through Jan. 19, 2024.
