China releases 2024 edition of Industrial Structure Adjustment Guidance List

On Dec. 27, 2023, China’s National Development and Reform Commission published the 2024 edition of the Industrial Structure Adjustment Guidance List ― a national list of industrial fields, operations, equipment, products, etc. that should be promoted, restricted or phased out. The 2024 list will come into effect Feb. 1, 2024, replacing the 2019 edition.
