On Sept. 13, 2023, the Development and Reform Commission of Tianjin, China, announced a program for promoting the development of high-quality charging infrastructure for EVs in the city. This program is based on “guiding opinions” of the General Office of the State Council on the development of high-quality charging infrastructure (announcement code: 国办发〔2023〕19号), and takes into account the development status of Tianjin’s industry. It includes the target of installing more than 100,000 charging piles by 2030.
