China announces plans for automobile sales promotion, encouraging construction of new-energy vehicle infrastructure

On July 21, 2023, China’s National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, other government departments and central bank jointly announced a series of plans for automobile sales promotion.

These plans call for the stabilization and expansion of automobile sales, optimization of the management system for automobile purchase and use, optimization of the market environment, and promotion of sustainable and healthy development of new-energy vehicles.
