India publishes quality control order for trimethyl phosphite

On April 5, 2022, India’s Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers published the Trimethyl Phosphite (Quality Control) Order, 2022. This order shall enter into force 181 days after its promulgation. Target products must comply with applicable Indian Standard and must affix the “Standard Mark” based on the license granted by the Bureau of Indian Standards under Scheme II of Schedule II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations 2018. Anyone who violates the provisions of this Order will be punished under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016. This order does not apply to goods intended for export.
