India publishes notification on amending import policy including ban on the import of HCFC-141b 
On August 11, 2020, India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry published the notification on amending import policy of 2015-2020 Foreign Trade Policy including the ban on the import of HCFC-141b. In case of the import of items prescribed in the table below, policy conditions shall be complied. New conditions added in this notification are as follows
Policy Condition 4 and 5: The Importer shall, for, each import consignment, submit a copy of the Bill of Entry within 30 days to the Ozone Cell, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi.
New import condition is added in Chapter 29 and 38 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule I.

※1 Import of HCFC141b is prohibited except for feedstock application as per Ozone Depleting Substances (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 and its amendments.
※2 Import of pre-blended polyol containing Group VI substances, including HCFC-141b, is not permitted as per Ozone Depleting Substances (Regulation and Control) Amendment Rules, 2014.
