India extends Energy Labels for Storage Type Electric Water Heater to end of 2022 
On October 13, 2021, India’s Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under the Ministry of Power issued the notification for extending the validity of the existing energy efficiency standards-based ratings for Storage Type Electric Water Heater, which are mandatory products under the Standards & Labeling Programme, to December 31, 2022. Where manufactures or permittees wish to continue the existing labels that have already been approved for product models, they have to fill with the prescribed form and submit it to BEE with a sample of the revised label.
