Government of Delhi GNCTD, Issues Comprehensive Winter Air Pollution Control Directive

The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), issued a directive on June 23, 2026, published in the Delhi Gazette under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, to address the severe air pollution that worsens every winter. The directive applies to all government bodies, private enterprises, and logistics operators within the NCT of Delhi and sets out a comprehensive set of measures to be enforced annually from November 1 to February 28.
