India Withdraws Quality Control Orders for Acrylonitrile, Maleic Anhydride & Styrene (Vinyl Benzene)

India’s Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers has withdrawn a total of 3 quality control orders (QCO) on October 24, 2025, namely Acrylonitrile, Maleic Anhydride and Styrene (Vinyl Benzene). These QCOs were published in 2021 and were scheduled to take effect in June 2022, but were then delayed multiple times. All 3 QCOs now render null and void upon withdrawal.
