Vietnam proposes new Law on fire prevention and fighting and human rescue

On January 17, 2024, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam published a Draft Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and Human Rescue (hereinafter "Draft Law"). The Draft Law, which consists of 58 articles in 8 chapters, mainly provides for requirements on fire prevention, firefighting, rescue operations, fire distinguishing equipment and personnel, etc. for various projects, facilities, buildings, transportation vehicles, facilities supplying or using electricity, and so on.
