Philippines Promulgates Administrative Order regarding Mandatory Certification for LPG Cylinder

On June 27th, 2022, “DTI-DAO No.22-11: The New Technical Regulation Concerning the Mandatory Certification of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Pressure Vessels, Services and Ancillary Products” (hereinafter referred to as “the Order”) was enacted in the Philippines. The Order aims to regulate the quality requirements for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pressure vessels as well as ancillary products, LPG-related systems, and services that are imported, manufactured, distributed, or sold in the Philippines.
