Description
In Vietnam, regulations on chemical management are undergoing a major change. The 2025 Law on Chemicals(69/2025/Qh15), which the Vietnam National Assembly passed on June 14th, consists of 7 chapters and 48 articles. The Law regulates chemicals, the management of chemical activities, the development of the chemical industry, information on chemicals, hazardous chemicals in products and goods, and safety and security in chemical-related activities. The Law will take effect on January 1st, 2026, with 03 Decrees and 02 Circulars in the drafting process.

Dinh Thanh Nghia
Mr. Dinh Thanh Nghia is an Associate Senior Researcher from the Research & Consulting Department of EnviX Ltd. He is mainly in charge of work on Vietnam’s environmental and chemical laws and policies. He has more than 5 years of working experience in this field to develop consulting services for clients in many countries (Japan, China, Europe, etc.) Before that, in 2013, he graduated with a master’s degree in chemical system engineering, then worked as a senior researcher and engineer for 6 years in chemical materials, semiconductors, and mechanics at a Japanese electronics company. He also has experience in research and manufacturing and a wide range of knowledge in technical consulting and quality control.
