Philippines releases draft implementation guideline for registration in vehicle fuel economy label regulations

As confirmed on February 29, 2024, a draft implementation guideline for the Philippine Transport Vehicles Fuel Economy Labeling Program (VFELP) has been published in the Philippines. This draft implementation guideline specifies the procedures and compliance guidelines for registration requirements under VFELP. For eligible vehicles, vehicle registration must be performed after completion of company registration, and only vehicles that have completed vehicle registration can apply for issuance of a fuel economy label.
