Philippines Enacts Updated Guidelines for Household Hazardous Substances

On March 30, 2023, Philippines’ Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued “FDA Circular No. 2023-006 Updated Guidelines on the Filing and Submission of Applications for the Licensing and Registration of Household/Urban Hazardous Substances (HUHS) Establishments and Products, Respectively, through the FDA E-Portal V.2 System”. Pursuant to FDA Circular No. 2020-025, establishment license and product registration applications for HUHS products are to be submitted through FDA’s online portal, E-Portal V.2.
