India postpones implementation date of Quality Control Order for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear

On November 1, 2022, the Ministry of Heavy Industries of India promulgated an order to postpone the effective date of the Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Order 2020, which defines the quality control of low-voltage switchgear and controlgear, to May 10, 2023. This Quality Control Order was postponed to November 11, 2022 by an Order promulgated on October 28, 2021, but was postponed for a further six months by the Order promulgated at this time.
