Taiwan’s MoENV Plan to Add Methoxychlor to List of Prohibited Ingredients in Environmental Chemicals

On October 14, 2025, Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment announced a draft amendment to the “Prohibited Ingredients and Testing Methods for Environmental Chemicals.” The proposed revision adds methoxychlor to the list of prohibited ingredients in environmental chemicals. The public comment period runs until 14 days after the draft’s publication date.
