$16,000 fine imposed on company in Jiaxing city, China for not registering, properly managing hazardous chemicals

On May 11, 2022, the Emergency Management Agency of Jiaxing city, Zhejiang province, China published a WeChat post regarding a case of a company violating hazardous chemical registration and management regulations. The company used and produced hazardous chemicals, but did not register them or store them in a separate storage place as required by the law. It received a fine of 110,000 yuan ($16,000) after the violations were found.
