NGO releases report on consumers’ attitudes toward packaging waste in Singapore

On Aug. 2, 2022, the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) released a report on the current situation and consumers’ attitudes regarding packaging waste. The report, which is titled “Unlocking Opportunities for Sustainable Packaging in Singapore”, is based on consumer attitude surveys jointly conducted by the SEC and consulting firm KPMG. It says educating consumers and rethinking product packaging are necessary to solve issues with packaging waste.
